The Institute for Educational Research (IfB) is a central component of the School of Education. It is responsible for research and teaching at the School of Education and fulfils the rights and duties of a faculty within it. Educational science and special education training for all teacher training programmes takes place here.
The IfB is currently home to 19 departments in which 22 professors and over 100 research assistants conduct research in national and international projects. Here you can find our research areas with the current research fields.
