Cross-Cultural Development and Evaluation of a Universal Behavior-Screening Tool in Schools

In this collaborative project between the USA and Germany, we translated the Integrated Screening and Intervention System Teacher Rating Form (ITRF; Volpe & Fabiano, 2013) into German using forward-backward translation following the Kidscreen translation guidelines (Kidscreen, 2004), and evaluated the psychometric characteristics of the German Language version in a large sample from grades K to 6. In addition, measurement invariance was evaluated across both English and German versions using samples from both countries. The results are published at, and will soon be published in Zeitschrift für Pädagogische Psychologie.
