The IT team
The IfB's IT team looks after the entire computer inventory and the faculty network of the Institute of Educational Research. It supports the staff and students of the Institute with questions regarding software and hardware.

If you wish to collect delivered goods or PCs from our office in FZ.02.10, please call us shortly beforehand so that someone is on site.
Areas of responsibility:
- Technical first-level support (IfB)
- IT infrastructure planning and consulting for the Institute of Educational Research
- Operation, configuration and support of the Institute's own servers
- Support and maintenance of the CMS (IfB)
- Software and hardware consulting and procurement (via beschaffungifb@uni-wuppertal.de)
- IT training and further training for employees (IfB)
- VLAN administration and planning *
- Support of the technical facilities of the experimental laboratories (IT) and the seminar rooms of the IfB
- Issue and inventory of IfB software and hardware

Data protection
On our website, we offer users the opportunity to contact the IfB IT team by providing personal data. The data is entered into this input mask and transmitted to us and stored. The data will not be passed on to third parties.
The legal basis for the processing of the data is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR if you have given your consent. If you do not complete or submit this form, you will not be able to participate in our digital offers*.
The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required to fulfil the purpose of your request.
As a user, you have the option of cancelling your registration at any time. You can have the data stored about you amended at any time. Mr Schreier (ifb-admin[at]uni-wuppertal.de) is responsible for this data collection and processing.
